From My Kitchen to Yours: The Story of Outta My Kitchen

Food is more than a meal—it is a language. I learned that early on in my New Jersey home, where the kitchen was the heartbeat of our family. It was a space defined by the constant hum of bubbling sauces, the scent of fresh-baked crusts, and the enduring belief that the best things in life happen when we gather around a table.

A Professional Foundation, A Personal Passion In 2003, I officially turned that passion into a profession, launching Outta My Kitchen. For seven years, I operated as a caterer, honing my craft and feeding the community I love. When I eventually transitioned into special education to raise my daughter, my professional path shifted, but my kitchen remained my creative sanctuary.

Cooking has been my constant. Through life’s challenges, including divorce, the kitchen has remained my way of expressing love, finding focus, and nurturing the soul. Most recently, cooking has become the foundation of a new chapter in my life—a relationship that began by bonding over shared meals and the simple, profound act of cooking for each other.

As I’ve learned in my own life, cooking is so much more than just preparing a meal. To cook for someone is an act of love, an act of vulnerability, and an act of faith. It’s the language my partner and I speak to one another, and it’s the heart of everything I bring to your table.

The Outta My Kitchen Philosophy As Anthony Bourdain once said: "Food is everything we are. It's an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It's inseparable from those from the get-go."

I’m thrilled to bring Outta My Kitchen back to Santa Rosa because I believe that in our fast-paced world, we’ve traded the soul of a home-cooked meal for mere convenience.

I’m here to bridge that gap. When you order from Outta My Kitchen, you aren’t just getting a dinner—you are getting:

  • Chef-Driven Quality: I focus on the integrity of ingredients. Whether it’s a slow-braised roast, a vibrant seasonal salad, or a scratch-made dessert, every element is chosen and prepared with intent.

  • Small-Batch Integrity: No industrial production or preservatives—just authentic, handcrafted recipes made in a home kitchen, with the kind of pride that only comes from cooking for neighbors, not shareholders.

  • A Commitment to Community: Every meal you order directly supports a local micro-business built on resilience, heart, and a love for Sonoma County.

Let’s Gather Around the Table Whether you’re looking for a stress-free weeknight dinner or a curated meal for your next gathering, I am honored to cook for you. I invite you to share in the spirit of my kitchen—one delicious, thoughtfully prepared meal at a time.
